A further 1,224 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Ireland by the Department of Health today.
As of this morning the number of people in the country hospitalised with COVID stands at 278.
Of these patients, 63 are in serious condition and have been admitted to the ICU.
Daily case numbers may change in the future after data is validated and reviewed.
