A walk-in vaccination clinic for anyone aged 12 years or older is continuing in Galway today, for a longer period than Saturday.
The walk-in vaccination clinic at Ballybrit Racecourse is open for people to get jabbed without an appointment until 4pm today.
Anyone aged 12 years or older can get their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine, and anyone who get their first shot before August 9 can go for their second dose.
Anyone attending between the ages of 12 and 15 will need a parent or guardian with them to give consent for them to be vaccinated.
If getting your second dose, you do not have to attend the same place where you got your first. People can go to any vaccination clinic in the country, as long as you have proof of your first dose.
This month saw Ireland secure the delivery of 700,000 additional doses of Pfizer vaccine from Romania, which accelerated the rollout of the mRNA vaccine.
