Water outages are affecting homes and businesses in Tuam this afternoon due to a burst water mains in the town.
Irish Water is carrying out repairs to a broken pipe on the Dublin Road in Tuam reported around 10:45 this morning.
These repair works have an estimated time of completion of 4pm this afternoon.
Homes and businesses in the Tuam and Grange areas may experience water outages or other supply disruptions while they are taking place.
People affected are advised that it may take 2 – 3 after work finished before their full supply returns.
