The Department of Health has reported 465 new cases of COVID-19 this evening, but the number of people in hospital with the disease is continuing to decrease.
There are now 84 people in hospitals across the State with COVID, of whom 30 are in intensive care units.
Health officials have warned that the daily case numbers could change due to data validation.
No county breakdown for Galway was given today because of the cyber attack on the HSE’s IT system.
