Galway Sports Partnership has launched a new mental health and wellbeing initiative for clubs and community centres around the city and county.
These Community Health Boards have been created in partnership with Mental Health Ireland, and the HSE Suicide Prevention office, and funded by Healthy Galway
This initiative aims to promote the availability of a range of services and supports available both locally and nationally.
This initiative involves placing the Community Health Boards in prominent areas of each clubs/community centre throughout Galway City and County.
The boards themselves are landscaped A0 sized and can be placed either indoors or outdoors.
Each board will include the clubs/groups logo and Eircode. A tool kit will also be given to each club/group to support the promotion of mental health.
Clubs and groups which are interested in availing of this programme can complete the expression of interest form online.
