Residents of both Tuam and Portumna may be experiencing water outages or low pressure today due to different issues.
Water treatment plant works may cause supply disruptions to Gortanumera, Killimore, Portumna and surrounding areas of the county until this evening.
These works currently have an estimated completion time of 6pm on Wednesday evening Irish Water has said.
Mains repair works taking place in Tuam may cause also water outages to homes in the area around Tuam Cathedral.
These works are expected to take two days, and currently scheduled to be completed by 6pm on Thursday evening.
People affected by this are advised that it may take 2 – 3 hours after work is completed for their full water supply to be restored.
Updates on both situations can be found on Irish Water’s Supply and Service website page, or by contacting Irish Water’s twitter account @IWCare.
