One lucky Lotto player in Galway is kicking off the Christmas season in good form with a €250,000 scratch card prize he picked up today.
The lucky Galway player won his quarter million prize on a €10 Money Multiplier 40X scratch card.
The winning Lotto card was bought at Coughlan’s Supermarket in Gort.
He was was one of three big winners going through the National Lottery headquarters today.
The others were a family syndicate from Dublin who claimed a €500,000 EuroMillions Plus top prize won at the start of the month.
And the other big winner was Kildare woman who won €100,000 on a Christmas Countdown scratch card.
