After raising €1,243 for the RNLI in October through the Fish Supper campaign, Eatmorefish.ie are back with a bumper prize that will make Christmas!
Last September Chef Neven Maguire was in Galway, filming for the next season of his Irish Seafood Trails.
This trip on the River Corrib gifted Neven his first-ever wild salmon, reeled in live in front of the camera.
To mark this triumph, Stefan at Gannet Fishmongers decided to have it smoked by Sally Barnes of Smokehouse Woodcock Smokery in West Cork.
“Neven then asked Sally to send back one half of the fish to me. I had the RNLI in my mind and so decided to raffle off this catch to raise funds for the RNLI,” said Stefan.
“On hearing of this Neven, who is always so generous, decided to make this prize even more special by adding on a dinner and overnight stay for two at his award-winning MacNean House & Restaurant in Cavan.”
The prize in this fundraising raffle consists of Neven’s wild salmon, smoked by Sally Barnes and dinner and an overnight + dinner stay for two at Mac Nean House.
Tickets can be purchased at EatMoreFish.ie for €10, and all money raised will go directly to the RNLI.
The winning ticket will be drawn on the 20th of December, and eatmorefish.ie will ship the fish to your door on time for Christmas.
