Multiple neighbourhoods in Ballinasloe will experience water outages in the evening this week due to works taking place on the local water network.
Siac Construction is carrying out upgrade works to the water main network on the Sarsfield Road this week until Friday, July 31 on behalf of Irish Water.
These works will cause water supply disruptions to Derrymullen, Deerpark, Cleaghmore, Tobergrellan, Killeen, Ballinasloe and surrounding areas of the county each evening.
The works are scheduled to take place between 6pm and 11pm each evening up to Friday.
Supply disruptions may occur during this time, but people affected are advised that it may take 2 – 3 hours after work is complete for their full water supply to return.
A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of these works.
