Overnight roadworks on the M17-M18 motorway on will involve lane closures on Thursday night.
DirectRoute Tuam Ltd, the M17-M18 concession company, is carrying out works on the motorway to facilitate improvement works at new Rest Bays.
In order to facilitate these works, the M17 northbound carriageway will be closed at Junction 19 Annagh Hill from 9pm – 12:30am tonight.
This will be followed by the closure of the M18 northbound at Junction 17 Kiltiernan from 1am to 5am.
Diversion routes will be sign posted for all traffic to re-join the motorway during these times.
It’s not expected that these roadworks will have any significant impact on journey times.
