More time is being sought to complete an extension to a Moycullen nursing home, and to build a Day Centre for it.
Planning permission was granted in 2015 for an extension to Uilinn Nursing Home at Kilrainey, Moycullen.
The developer is now seeking a five year Extension of Duration to that planning permission.
The intended works consists of a 37.5sqm extension to the existing facility, and the construction of a new 215sqm Day Care Centre.
Work has yet to commence on the project due to financial constraints according to the planning application.
The developer now proposes to commence work by July 2020, with a view towards completing construction by march 2021.
The County Council is currently due to give a decision on the extension of duration application by May 19.
