The Pixies will be playing for an additional date at the Heineken Big Top at next summer’s Galway International Arts Festival due to popular demand.
Rock legends The Pixies were previously announced to be playing the Big Top next July 17, and tickets for their show were completely sold out withing two hours of becoming available.
The Pixies will now also be taking to the stage the day beforehand on July 16. Tickets are priced at €52.5o and will go on sale at giaf.ie on Friday, December 6 at 9am.
That means one more opportunity to hear such hits as “Where is my Mind” and “Gigantic” live.
Demand for tickets is expected to be very strong so don’t miss the chance to experience one of the most influential bands of the last 30 years Live at the Heineken Big Top.
Galway International Arts Festival 2020 will run from July 13 – 26, with multiple headline acts already confirmed for the Big Top.
Celebrated electronic musician John Hopkins will play on July 25, and before him The Flaming Lips will make a much-anticipated return to the festival on July 18.
Local artists The Stunning will follow them on stage the very next night.
More acts will be announced in the weeks to come ahead of the full programme release in May 2020.
