Gardaí are investigating a burglary that took place at a supermarket in Ballinasloe this weekend in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A large amount of cash was stolen from an ATM inside the supermarket. Significant damage was also done to the premises during the burglary.
The location of the incident is currently being examined by officers from the Garda Scene of Crime unit.
Gardaí in Ballinasloe are appealing to the public for information, particularly anyone who noticed any unusual activity in the vicinity of Dunlo Town Centre and the wider Ballinasloe area between the hours of 11:30pm on Friday, November 22 and 4:30am on Saturday, November 23.
Gardaí are also appealing to road users with camera footage who were travelling in the area from 11:30pm to 4:30am to contact Gardaí.
