A man has been indicted and charged with the possession of cannabis, cannabis resin, cocaine, ecstasy, and ketamine which it is alleged he planned to sell.

Gardaí allege Timothy Daiber (29), was in possession of over €13,000 worth of cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy, ketamine, and resin at St Brigid’s Place in Prospect Hill on February 2 which was meant for sale.

Mr Daiber, formerly of St Brigid’s Place and with an address in Malbay, Clare, appeared before Judge Mary Fahy at Galway District Court this week.

Gardaí served the Book of Evidence and the DPP consented to Mr Daiber being sent forward for trial on indictment.

He was sent forward for trial to the current sitting of Galway Circuit Court which is holding hearings for criminal matters in November.

The indictment contains multiple charges for Possession and Possession for the purpose of selling or otherwise supplying it to another person under Section 3 & 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
