A coffee morning will be held in every AIB branch in Galway City and County this Friday between 10.00 and 12.30 – all for a worthy cause.

The coffee mornings across the county will raise funds for Hand in Hand, the national children’s cancer charity.

Branch Manager at AIB Newcastle Road, Adrienne Turley, said that they chose Hand in Hand as their selected charity because they ‘provide vital support to families throughout the country during an incredibly difficult time’.

“We are excited to welcome people from the community into our branches and are pleased we are able to help such a worthy cause,” she said.

Hand in Hand work with families throughout Ireland to provide practical and emotional support during the treatment of childhood cancer.

They help with domestic cleaning, laundry, childcare and meals provision; in addition to emotional support services.

Jennifer Carpenter, Service Manager at Hand in Hand, said: “We are delighted that AIB selected us as their chosen charity for this event. AIB are a fantastic organisation to work with, and we cannot thank them enough for their support.”
