The semi-finals of our 2018 Galway Daily Senior Footballer of the Year competition closed last night (Tuesday) as the 12 contenders were whittled down to the final four.
Corofin’s Ian Burke topped the poll with 88% followed by Shane Walsh (86%), Damien Comer (81%) and Eoghan Kerin (61%).
The winners from each group advanced to the final which takes place today (Wednesday).
Some of those unfortunate to be eliminated included Sean Kelly, Ciaran Duggan, Tom Flynn and Sean Andy O Ceallaigh.
On Thursday, we will declare the 2018 Galway Daily Senior Footballer of the Year.
Any ties will be decided by our adjudication panel. All you need to do is log into (and like) our twitter page and like your favourite player in each section each day. It’s that simple. Each poll will last for 15 hours.
