Fashionistas were at the ready as glamour met goodwill at the Galway Races Kickstarter event at Salthill Hotel, Prom to Paddock on Monday, 30 July.
All monies raised from the event went towards the work of Enable Ireland, a non-profit organisation that provides free support services to children with physical disabilities and developmental difficulties in Galway city and county.
The afternoon began at 12 noon with a Pink Gin & Prosecco reception, then guests were treated to a four-course meal.
During lunch, a fashion showcase took place with the most exclusive looks and must have pieces for the races and summer season, and nine of Ireland’s leading milliners exhibited some head-turning pieces, all compered by TV3 showbiz correspondent Noel Cunningham and one of the country’s most stylish women and Catwalk Modelling Agency MD Mandy Maher.
