There are reports of spot flooding at Claregalway on the Tuam Rd north of Galway City.
The AA say that traffic is heavy both ways on the Tuam Rd; inbound from Two Mile Ditch to the Bóthar na dTreabh jct and outbound from Rockmount through Claregalway.
Elsewhere in Galway, traffic lights are out of action at the junction of Parkmore and the Monivea Rd, with traffic slow in the area as a result. The council has been notified.
And the N84 is busy both ways at Clonboo with works taking place on this route.
