Galway Juvenile Hurling Board Chairman Pauric Lohan is most qualified to judge county underage finals and enjoyed the quality served by Ahascragh/Fohenagh and Killimor in the 2018 under 16 B1 finals.
Ahascragh/Fohenagh beat Killimor 1-15 to 2-9 after a replay in Duggan Park, Ballinasloe following two epic showdowns that left supporters wanted more.
In his role, Lohan sees hurling finals nearly every day of the week and thought this decider was “classic stuff” and augurs well for the future of Galway hurling. Afterwards, he spoke to Darren Kelly from Galway Daily.
