GardaĆ in Mallow are appealing for witnesses after the death of a 24-year-old Galway native in Co. Cork yesterday evening.
The man was stabbed at approximately 8.30pm yesterday evening, and was taken to Cork University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The man has been named locally as Conor Quinn.

The scene at Bridge Street remains preserved for a technical examination and gardaĆ have issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward.
The GardaĆ now want to speak to a young man who they believe he was with at the time of the incident.
