A man in his 60s has been fatally injured following a crash on the M18 between a car and a truck.
The collision happened after one o’clock today at junction 13 on the M18 on the Gort side of Ennis.
RTÉ say the sole occupant of the car was pronounced dead at the scene and that the driver of the truck was uninjured.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and the motorway has been closed from junctions 12 to 14 for a for an investigation.
