KILKERRIN UNITED NOTES

U10 girls had an exciting game in the sunshine on Wednesday evening last (23rd May) against Cloonfad United. Amy Boyle & Emma Angel were both on target for Kilkerrin.  U12 Girls drew 1-1 with Ballaghaderreen FC.

U9 boys played two exciting games against Shiven Rovers in Killyan on Sunday evening where there were goals a plenty. All our players acquitted themselves well. Well done to all involved.

U11 boys gave a great team performance against Shiven Rovers on Friday in Kilkerrin. Sam Nolan, Eoin Morrissey and Kevin Freeman all scored for Kilkerrin in a superb game.

U12 boys drew 3-3 with Cloonfad United. Tomás Lee gave Kilkerrin the lead following a brilliant passing move. Cloonfad struck twice early in the second half but Daniel Stephens equalised and Enda Keane headed Kilkerrin ahead with minutes to play. Cloonfad had the last say, forcing a draw at the death.

U16 boys defeated Ballymoe FC 3-0 thanks to goals from Ciarán Lee & Shane Carton (2).

Many thanks to everybody who supported the club by purchasing an annual lotto ticket. Congratulations to Patrick Donelon, Bernie Heneghan & Maria Gordon who were among the six match 3 winners in the first draw. Numbers draw were 6, 12, 15 & 24. Next week’s jackpot is €13,500.
