Updated: Merchant’s Road has reopened following an earlier collision. It was closed for a period of time with diversions in place.

Wet road conditions are adding to delays in the city this evening.

Elsewhere, Bóthar na dTreabh is very heavy from the Terryland side through to the Briarhill jct.

Close by, the Tuam Rd is busy inbound approaching the Bóthar na dTreabh jct from Two Mile Ditch. Outbound, it’s busy from Summerhill to the Mervue Business Park.

Leaving the city, there are delays both ways between Woodquay and the Kirwan R/A on the Headford Rd. Further out, it’s busy from Ballinfoyle through Ballindooley.

It’s busy now from Quincentenary Bridge through to the Dublin Rd as far as GMIT.

Not far away, Lough Atalia and College Rd are both busy outbound approaching Moneenagiesha.
